The Client Portal is a secure, branded web application hosted on your own dedicated server. On Proton, you access it via browser at portal.yourdomain.co.uk. On Fusion, you also get a native desktop app for Windows, Mac and Linux. It gives your team direct threaded chat access to your AI agents, plus billing and team management tools for admin users.
The admin creates accounts for each team member — there is no self-registration. Each user receives their login credentials by email and signs in with email and password. All sessions use JWT tokens with automatic expiry. The portal is invite-only by default, meaning only people the admin has explicitly created accounts for can ever access it.
A named user seat covers one person's access across all authenticated channels — the portal (browser/desktop), CRM, Slack and Teams. One seat = one person, regardless of how many channels they use or which departments they belong to. Proton includes 1 free seat (the owner). Fusion includes 5 free seats. Yes. On Fusion, the admin creates department folders (e.g. Sales, Support, Marketing) and assigns users to them. Each department maps to specific orchestrators — a user in the Sales department only sees and interacts with the Sales agent. They cannot access Marketing or PM agents. Permissions are enforced at the API layer, not just in the UI.
Yes, on Proton and Fusion, if the admin grants CRM access to a user, they receive a separate CRM login alongside their portal login — both tied to the same email address. Their CRM access is scoped to their department (e.g. a Sales user sees the sales pipeline; a Support user sees the support tickets). CRM access is never granted automatically — it must be explicitly enabled by the admin or a Power User.
Yes. Admin users have a billing panel within the portal. Clicking "Update payment method" opens a Stripe-hosted secure page where you can update your card — your card details never touch Atomic Engine's systems. Stripe handles all payment data in a fully PCI DSS compliant environment.

Billing & plans
Yes, at any time. When you upgrade we provision the additional orchestrators and infrastructure within 24 hours. Your existing configuration is preserved. Billing adjusts at the next cycle.
Your agent continues operating for a 7-day grace period. We alert you immediately via email and send a payment retry link. After 7 days the agent is paused (not deleted) — your data and configuration are preserved. Reactivation is instant once payment is updated.
Add-ons are specialist AI agent sets available exclusively to Fusion clients — Ops (business intelligence, reporting), Technology (MSP helpdesk, security, DevOps) or Renewables (grid connection, BESS, energy trading). Each add-on costs £75/mo and deploys its own container and sub-agent set on your existing server.
